- Major Update
Clearer minutes and annual billing + content screening stops blocking true-crime narration + terms now cover voice features
New Features- Content screening now judges each category on its own, so ordinary work stops getting caught — a true-crime explainer or a news voiceover could previously be blocked purely for describing violence. The violence threshold has been relaxed while the line on sexual content stays strict, so documentary, war history and crime topics no longer need euphemisms
- Just signed up and not sure where to start? The home page picks your first step — a new account no longer opens onto an empty project list. It shows how many free minutes you hold and offers the two fastest routes to a finished result: Text to Speech and Voice Cloning
- The service page finally explains the voice features in full — it used to be almost entirely about subtitles, leaving voice visitors without answers. Now covered: 8 emotion modes, 25 expression tags (laughs, sighs, pauses), one input producing both audio and a short video, recording straight in the browser, plus voice cloning FAQs on consent, privacy, retention and supported languages
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy fully updated — the old text was written when subtitles were the only feature, leaving Text to Speech, Voice Cloning and Text to Video arguably out of scope. The new version covers all three and states one thing plainly: unless the law requires it, we do not hand what you submit to any third party
Fixes- Annual plans quoted a monthly number at checkout — an annual plan actually grants the full year of minutes up front (360 minutes, for example), yet the payment page read "30 minutes/month", making buyers think they were getting a fraction of it. The label now follows the actual billing period, so what you see before paying is what you get
- Calling minutes a "transcription quota" sold them short — the same minutes cover transcription, AI Dubbing, Text to Speech and Text to Video, and how you split them is up to you. The old wording led many to believe minutes were subtitles-only; it has been corrected site-wide
- Referral rewards named the wrong plans — the old copy said only Premium could create a referral code. Every paid plan, Lite included, can. The numbers are corrected too: 10-30 minutes for the referrer and 10-60 for the friend, depending on plan
- Signing up with Google from the login page recorded consent to terms you were never shown — the Google button on the login page also creates new accounts, but the terms notice lived only on the register page. Both pages now carry it, directly under the button
- The title field was squeezed to a sliver in English and Japanese — down to 26px in Japanese, about two characters, because the hint text beside it claimed the whole row. The hint now sits on its own line below and the title field is back to full width; Traditional Chinese gained double the width along the way

More reliable voice cloning + accurate remaining minutes + stronger account security
New Features- Voice cloning now supports longer recording samples — creating your own voice from a longer sample no longer fails midway, so you can clone from more complete material
- Faster "Text to Speech" history list — long histories now load with pagination, so the list opens more smoothly
- Stronger account protection — login, registration and public previews now include human verification to block automated abuse and keep the service stable for genuine users
Fixes- Remaining production minutes shown more accurately — expired minute pools are no longer counted toward your balance
- Free monthly minutes refill more reliably — your free monthly minutes are topped up automatically as you use the app, no longer delayed until you open a specific page
- Clearer YouTube import errors — for errors that cannot be retried, we now suggest uploading directly and hide the invalid "Retry" button
- Fixed the voice cloning "use this voice" link breaking on non-Traditional-Chinese interfaces, and stale results not clearing after deletion
- Voice clone previews now automatically retry once on a download timeout, reducing preview failures
- When creating a voice clone, recordings under 60 seconds are flagged immediately, so you will not find out only after submitting

- Faster translation & review — The system now routes language-model traffic across multi-region endpoints with automatic fail-over on slowdowns, noticeably shortening translation and subtitle review time

Fixes- Fixed an issue where the subscription status was not refreshed immediately after auto-renewal, preventing temporary loss of access on the renewal day
- When an email bounces, is marked as spam, or is blocked by the recipient server, the system now automatically unsubscribes that user from marketing emails to prevent further sends
- Fixed an issue where regenerating a Text-to-Speech clip would clear the originally selected language and leave the row blank in the list
- The "Retry" button on the maintenance page now returns you to the page you were on, instead of jumping back to the home page
- Notification body limit raised from 800 to 3,000 characters; email-address links inside notifications are now clickable and open in your mail app
- Fixed a display glitch where text briefly disappeared on certain buttons during mouse hover; all six theme variants are now corrected
- Updated the social share preview image for all four languages (the thumbnail shown when you paste a link into Facebook, LinkedIn, and similar platforms)

Lite plan launched + In-app Notification Center + brand-new Chinese voices
New Features- New Lite plan launched — HK$45/month or HK$500/year, 30 production minutes per month. Text-to-Speech and Text-to-Video typically consume fewer minutes; Lite sits between Free and Basic and is designed for users whose main workflow is Text-to-Speech / Text-to-Video, lowering the entry price.
- In-app Notification Center — Every system email (upgrade prompts, quota warnings, dubbing completion, etc.) is now mirrored inside the app. Click your avatar in the top-right to view them all at once, no need to sift through your inbox.
- Session-expiry modal with deep-link survival — When your session expires mid-task, you're no longer kicked out of the current page. Sign in again from the modal and you return exactly where you were, including shared deep-links.
- 4 brand-new Chinese voices — Kaiting, Shutiao, Xiao Q, and Zhendong are now available in the voice studio.

New Features- Cantonese subtitle accuracy significantly improved — Transcription engine fully upgraded; recognition of Cantonese colloquial speech, Hong Kong-style Chinese-English mixing, and proper nouns is markedly better. KOLs, podcasters, and interview-content creators will notice the biggest difference.
- Free Voice Cloning trial — New users can upload a voice sample and build their own trial voice without paying. Use it for dubbing immediately. Up to 2 trial voices per month, each kept for 48 hours.
- Upgrade to keep your trial voice — Upgrade to a paid plan during the trial window and your trial voice is automatically converted into a permanent personal voice — no re-uploading needed.
