AI Dubbing × YouTube Multi-language Audio
Since September 2025, YouTube has officially opened multi-language audio tracks to all creators. Viewers can freely switch languages in the player — not just subtitles, but the actual voice.
Upload a video and we transcribe and translate the subtitles automatically. Pick a target language and AI voice to generate the dubbed audio, then upload it to YouTube Studio as a multi-language track — viewers can switch language right in the player.

We use industry-leading AI speech recognition. In quiet environments with clear speech, accuracy can exceed 95%. Performance is especially strong for Cantonese and Chinese.
Upload 1-5 minutes of clear speech and AI analyses your voice characteristics to create an AI voice that's yours alone. Type any text afterwards and it will be read in that voice — for text to speech, text to video, or video dubbing. Supports mp3, m4a, wav and other common formats, up to 20 MB.
No. Your voice sample is never used to train AI models, and never sold to advertisers or any third party. Your AI voice belongs to you alone and is never assigned or transferred to another user. Audio is encrypted in transit and kept under strict access controls.
Only if you have explicit permission from the voice owner. When you submit, you must confirm that the sample is your own voice or that you are authorised to use it. Cloning someone's voice without permission may carry legal consequences.
The free trial allows 2 clones per month with 1 trial voice at a time, and the AI voice stays usable for 2 days before it is automatically reclaimed. Paid plans let you name your voice and keep it permanently — it never expires as long as you keep using it. If it goes unused for 30 days we'll email you a reminder, and only after a further 7 days without use is it deleted automatically.

AI dubbing converts your subtitles into multilingual voice tracks using professional AI voices. Dubbing consumes additional minutes — the exact amount is shown before you start.
No! Translation does not consume any minutes. Each video has a translation limit (varies by plan), but translation itself is free.
Yes! Every paid plan (Lite / Basic / Pro / Premium) can create a referral code on the Referral page. Free users unlock it the moment they upgrade to any paid plan.
Ordinary processing failures (system errors, format problems) do not deduct minutes. The one exception is video blocked by our content policy: speech recognition has already completed by that point, so those minutes are deducted. For any billing concerns, contact support@heysubtitle.com.
AI transcription accuracy is affected by background noise, speaking speed, accents, and overlapping speakers. We recommend recording in a quiet environment with clear audio. Translation quality depends on the accuracy of the original subtitles and language complexity. You can manually correct any results in the online editor.
Technically yes, as long as the video is public and embeddable. However, please be mindful of copyright and ensure you have proper rights before processing subtitles.
Each plan has a different storage limit. Videos are compressed after upload but still take up space. You can check your current usage on the Usage page, delete old videos to free up space, or upgrade to a higher plan for more storage.
