Ordinary processing failures (system errors, format problems) do not deduct minutes. The one exception is video blocked by our content policy: speech recognition has already completed by that point, so those minutes are deducted. For any billing concerns, contact support@heysubtitle.com.

Translation quality depends on the accuracy of the original subtitles and language complexity. You can manually correct any results in the online editor.

Technically yes, as long as the video is public and embeddable. However, please be mindful of copyright and ensure you have proper rights before processing subtitles.

Each plan has a different storage limit. Videos are compressed after upload but still take up space. You can check your current usage on the Usage page, delete old videos to free up space, or upgrade to a higher plan for more storage.
